for giving my father

After reading "for giving my father" and it talking about how its Friday, meaning pay day as it states in the first stanza of the  poem and being that excited about it because your that poor. It's quiet sad that there is people like this out there today. The poor daughter in this poem tells us that her dad's an old lecher, old liar, and that she wishes he was rich so she could take it all and give it to her mother who was mistreated. So her fathers dead and leaving behind lots of debt for the daughter and mother to pay back. The daughter goes on talking about how the father was a son of a needy father, the father of a needy son. (line 11) The daughters pain and suffer from her fathers death and habits causing her such greif has left her hating her father and wishing he was rich so she could make her mother happy and enjoy life for a change.
